Before you start
- You may add up to 10 co-teachers to your account.
- Each invited user who does not already have a WeVideo license will claim one of your account’s licenses. Contact your account administrator to confirm license availability before sending invitations.
- If you’d like to invite an educator to contribute to a project (as opposed to a class), you can do so by inviting them at the project level.
- This article describes instructor collaboration in the Multimedia Creation space. To collaborate in the Interactivity space, refer to this article instead.
Add a co-teacher to a class
In the Multimedia Creation space, navigate to the Classes tab of the left sidebar and then click the relevant class.
Switch to the People tab; then click Add people > Share invite link or code.
Switch to the Teachers tab. Then copy the invite link or code, or download the QR code.
Once the invitee has joined the class, you’ll see them listed under the People tab as a Co-teacher.
Remove a co-teacher
To remove a co-teacher from a class, go to the Classes tab and find the relevant class. Then click the People tab, open the three-dot menu for the co-teacher, and click Remove.
Co-teacher view of classes
As with any other classes they own, co-teachers can see their co-teaching classes in the Classes tab in the left sidebar of the Multimedia Creation space.
Co-teacher permissions
Once a co-teacher has accepted an invitation to a class, they will automatically receive permissions for all instructor-level actions within that class, including:
- Adding other co-teachers to the class
- Creating multimedia creation assignments
- Collaborating in real time with learners
- Reviewing learner submissions
- Returning assignments with feedback
The only exception is that invited co-teachers cannot delete classes.
