Real-Time Collaboration is a feature designed with remote and blended learning environments in mind. This feature enables students and teachers to edit videos together in real-time, regardless of location. Whether you're in the classroom or working remotely, you can feel like you're editing videos side-by-side.
Getting started
1. Create a Collaborative Project
2. Add members to the project
3. Open the edit and start creating! Any changes made in one timeline will be reflected in all collaborators' timelines.
Helpful tips & tricks
Profile icon
As members join the edit, you’ll notice their profile icons will appear at the top of the screen to indicate they're working with you. You can work with as many collaborators as you want and are only limited by the number of members in the Collaborative Project. However, you don't want to have too many cooks in the kitchen at the same time!
Selecting clips
When another user selects a clip in the timeline, their profile icon will appear on the clip to indicate that they are currently selecting it. Any changes made to a clip by one user will reflect in the other user's timeline.
As shown in the example below, Student 1 modified the dog clip in the Video 2 track, and then shortly after Student 2 modified the beach clip in the Video 1 track. Both users currently have the same "My Video" edit open simultaneously.

Adding markers
At any point in the timeline, you can add a marker to take notes that other users can comment on.
Now you're ready to collaborate in real-time. Enjoy!
