Yes, when creating interactions in interactive videos or adding text items to playlists in WeVideo’s Interactivity space, instructors can adjust the text format to apply headers. When answering the free-response questions in the interactive videos, learners can also apply headers to their submissions with the rich text editor.
Adjust the headers of the text entered in the Interactive interactions
Log in to WeVideo, click the Create New Interactive Video button in the Interactivity space or from the Interactive Videos page in the Multimedia Creation space.
Select a video host and find the video you want to add to the interactive video.
Click Done to complete the video import. If you need to add captions or trim the video, click Customize to further edit it.
Switch to the Interactions tab, move the playhead to the desired timestamp, and click the Create New Interaction button.
Select the interaction type from the list, then enter the interaction content.
Highlight the text that you want to adjust the header for, and select the Format option from the rich text editor.
Select the Formats option from the list, select Headers, and select the header options from Header 1 to Header 3.
Click Save to save the interaction. Repeat the steps in this section to apply headers to other interactions if needed.
Adjust the headers for the text items in the playlists
Switch to the Interactivity space with the drop-down menu at the top of the window.
Navigate to the Playlists page by clicking the Playlists option on the sidebar menu, and click the Create Playlist button at the top right of the window.
Click Add Module, then click the Add Other button.
Enter the title and content in the Add Text Item section.
Highlight the text that you want to adjust the header for, and select the Format option from the rich text editor.
Select the Formats option from the list, select Headers, and select the header options from Header 1 to Header 3.
Click Add Text to add the text item to the playlist. Repeat the steps in this section to apply headers to other text items if needed.
Adjust headers when answering the free-response questions as learners
When seeing the interaction, click the “Use Rich Text?” option to expand the rich text editor.
Enter the answer option, highlight the text you want to adjust the header, and click the Format option on the rich text editor.
Select the Formats option from the list, select Headers, and select the header options from Header 1 to Header 3.
Click Submit to submit the answer to the question.
Plan and role requirements for adjusting headers in interactions in WeVideo Interactivity
All instructors and administrators with an Instructor or Organizational license can access the create interactive videos and adjust headers when creating interactions.
Learners and students can access the rich text editor to adjust headers when answering Free Response interactions or taking the Learner-Made Interactive Video assignment. Please note that learners will not be able to access the rich text editor when completing the Fill-in-the-blank interactions, and therefore cannot adjust the header when answering them.
