Assignments plan and permission requirements

Assigned video access depends on the following user account permissions.

  • Assign to learners: For users with student or teacher accounts.
  • Assign to professional learning: This option is deprecated. For professional learning, please select the "Assign for learners" option and enroll the participants in the class as learners.
  • Assign to people outside the organization: Anyone can receive this assignment with a link. Users must enter their first and last names before starting the video. This is available for users with a district plan.
  • Assign to anonymous participants: Anyone can access with a link. No user information is required. This is available for users with a district plan.

Note: Users cannot log in through the embedded player for security reasons. The embed code option is only available for assignments assigned through the Assign to people outside the organization or Assign to anonymous participants options.
