Assign professional learning through the LMS
WeVideo Interactivity supports dual roles, meaning users with an instructor account can also fully participate in the professional learning class as learners while remaining instructors in their own classes.
When users with instructor accounts are enrolled in the LMS course as learners, they will access WeVideo content with learner accounts in WeVideo to take the professional learning. They will be switched back to the instructor account once they return to the class they teach in the LMS.
To assign interactive content as professional learning through the LMS, please follow the steps below.
- Create a class in the LMS for professional learning and enroll participants as “Learner/Student”.
- Assign the interactive activity to the professional learning class in the LMS. Please see the instructions for each supported LMS listed below.
- Ask participants to complete the professional learning assignment in the LMS course. After they complete the assignment, their grades will be saved in WeVideo. If grading is enabled in the LMS, their grades will also be synced to the LMS grade book.
- To monitor the progress, navigate to the professional learning assignment in the LMS and click the Monitor button on the manage link page to launch the monitor page. Please see this article for more information about monitoring interactive activity in WeVideo Interactivity.
