Assign interactive videos to WeVideo classes
From Multimedia Creation space
Select Interactive Videos from the left sidebar menu.
Click the triple dots button on the interactive video and select Assign.
Adjust the Assign Preferences that best meet your needs. There are four different options:
- Assign to students: The user with a student account can access this assignment.
- Assign to professional learning: This assignment can be accessed by the user with a teacher account. Please see this article for more information on using Interactivity for professional learning. This option is available for users with the district plan.
- Assign to people outside the organization: Anyone can access this assignment using the link. Before starting the interactive video, users will be asked to enter their first and last names. This option is available for users with the district plan.
- Assign to anonymous participants: Anyone can access this assignment using the link. No user information is needed to begin the interactive video. This option is available for users with the district plan.
Set the start and end dates for this assignment. The assignment will appear in the class after the start date, and the assignment link will not work until the start date. The end date is the due date for the assignment, and the assignment will be blocked after the end date. The interactive video will always be available to learners if no end date is assigned. The date and time are based on the instructor’s time zone. Please see this article for more information about adjusting the time zone in the user settings.
Select the classes to which this interactive video will be assigned. If the instructor needs to create a new class from this assignment, click New Class to create a new class.
Once instructors adjust all the settings, click Assign to assign the interactive video to the classes.
After the interactive video is assigned to the class, learners can access it from the class. Please see this article for more information about how learners can complete the interactive assignment in WeVideo.

Click the thumbnail or the triple dots action button of the interactive video and select Assign.

Assign playlists to WeVideo classes
Playlists can only be assigned from the Interactivity space. Please use the dropdown menu to navigate to the Interactivity space.
Select Playlists from the left sidebar menu.
Click the playlist icon or the triple dots action button of the playlist and select Assign.

Retrieve assign link
If the instructor needs to retrieve the assign link after assigning the interactive videos or playlists, please follow the steps in this section to acquire the link.
Switch to the Interactivity space.
Click the thumbnail of the interactive video from the My Interactive Video page or the playlist icon from the Playlists page and select Share Link.
Copy the assign link from the class and share it with your learners.
Edit Interactive assignments in WeVideo classes
If instructors need to update the assignment title, start date, or due date, they can edit the interactive assignment from the Interactivity space. Use the dropdown menu to navigate to the Interactivity space.
Select Classes from the left sidebar menu and select the class where the assignment is assigned.
Click the thumbnail or the triple dots action button of the interactive video and select Edit Assignment.
To edit the playlist assignment, switch to the Playlist tab from the top, click the playlist icon or the triple dots action button of the playlist, and select Edit Assignment.
Update the title, start date, or due date for the assignment. Click Update on the top to save the change.
