Assign Interactivity content to WeVideo classes from the Multimedia Creation space by selecting Interactive Videos. Click the triple-dot button, select Assign, adjust preferences, set the start and end dates, and select the class to assign the content to.
From the Interactivity page, click the thumbnail or the triple dots action on the interactive video to select Assign. Adjust preferences, set the start and end dates, and select the class to assign the content.

Assign Interactivity content to WeVideo classes
Multimedia Creation
Select Interactive Videos from the left menu.
Click the triple dots and select Assign.
Adjust the Assign preferences. There are four different options:
- Assign to learners: Users with either a teacher or student account can access and complete this assignment.
- Assign to professional learning (deprecated): Professional learning assignments have moved! Now, instructors no longer need to choose whether the assignment is for students or teachers; the same link will work for both groups. To assign interactive video as a professional learning assignment, please select the first option. See this article for more on assigning interactive content for professional learning.
- Assign to people outside the organization: Anyone can access this assignment using the link. Before the interactive video starts, users will be asked to enter their first and last names. This option is available for users with the district plan.
- Assign to anonymous participants: Anyone can access this assignment using the link. No user information is needed to begin the interactive video. This option is available for users with the district plan.
Select Start and End dates for the assignment by clicking the calendar icon. Assignments appear in the class after the start date. The end date is the assignment's due date, and the assignment is blocked after that date. Content is always available when no end date is assigned. Assignment start and end dates are based on the instructor’s time zone. See this article for more on adjusting user settings.

Assign multiple interactive videos at once
From the Interactive Videos tab in the Interactivity space, click the check boxes next to the videos, then click the Assign button.

Each interactive video has a unique assign link for each class. Click the interactive video title to expand it, then copy the link to share with learners.

Assign playlists to WeVideo classes
From the Interactivity space, click Playlists and Assign from the top menu or the triple dots action button.

Retrieve the assign link
After assigning videos or playlists, retrieve the assign link by clicking the thumbnail or the triple-dot action button on the interactive video or playlist, then select the Share Link option.
Edit Interactive assignments in WeVideo classes
Update the assignment title, start date, or due date by selecting a class from the Classes page in Interactivity.
Click the assignment's thumbnail or the triple-dot action button, and select the Edit assignment option.
Update the title, start date, due date, or assignment preferences, and click Update to save the change.
Plan and role requirements for assigning Interactivity content to WeVideo Classes
Users with the Education (Instructor and Organization) license can access Interactivity to create and assign interactive videos and playlists to their learners through WeVideo Classes. To assign Interactivity content to a class, users must be the class owner or instructor.
