If the media you want to add to a project is smaller than the project resolution, you can also add backgrounds provided by WeVideo to fill the space in the video.
Add Backgrounds to Projects
From the project editor, select the Backgrounds tab and choose a background to add. Click See All to expand and view more background options. If you do not see the background color you want to use, you can also customize the color in a later step.
Click +Track to create a new video track for the background, and drag the desired background to the track. Please note that the background track must be under other video and text tracks; otherwise, it will block the video or text content behind it.
Change background color
Select the background you want to edit by clicking on it and selecting Edit.
Choose a color from the color board or enter the RGB code to set the background color.
Click Done to save the change.
