How to add backgrounds to projects?

Add backgrounds to projects by selecting the Backgrounds tab and choosing a background. Click See All to expand the background options or customize the color.

Select the Backgrounds tab inside the editor. Click See All for more Animated or Solids options.

 

The + track button is marked as the first step, and the Video/text track is marked as the second step.

+ Track to create a new video track, then drag the desired background to the track.

Click Edit and choose a color from the color board or enter the RGB code.

Select a color and click Done to save the new background color.

Add static text, music, images, and transitions, and more to complete the video. Add more tracks as needed.

Toy with animated backgrounds for a more dynamic experience. Drag an animated background to the timeline, then click play to preview the effect.

Use the editor toolbar to Split, adjust Audio & Opacity, apply Filters, and more. See this support article for more ways to edit and customize video projects.

Click Export when finished. Title the project, select Export type — Video, Podcast, or GIF — resolution preferences, and file destination, then click the Export button to export the project.
