How do I create playlists in the Multimedia Creation space?

To create a playlist in the Multimedia Creation space, navigate to the Pages tab from the left sidebar and click Create playlist. Learn more about playlists and how to create them below.

Before you start

• To create playlists, your WeVideo account administrator must enable playlists within the global settings for your organization. If you do not see the Playlists tab in the left sidebar, please contact your account administrator.
• To share playlists, your WeVideo account administrator must set playlist privacy to Public for your organization. If the Share button is grayed out, please contact your account administrator.
• This article describes Playlists within the Multimedia Creation space. If you are looking to create an interactive playlist instead, please refer to this article on creating playlists in Interactivity.

Create a new playlist

Navigate to the Playlists tab from the left sidebar of the WeVideo Multimedia Creation space and then click Create playlist.

Name your playlist and click Next.

Select the media files you’d like to add to your new playlist, toggling between the Exports tab and Uploads tab as needed. (Exports includes all files you have exported; Uploads includes any media files you have uploaded to WeVideo.) Then click Create playlist.

Manage playlists

Once your playlist is created, you can manage it by navigating back to the Playlists tab. 

Edit playlists

From the Playlists page, click on the card of any playlist to open it, or click the three-dots menu and click Open.

Make edits to the playlist using the toolbar at the left:

• Add new media files to the playlist by clicking +Add content.
• Rename the playlist by clicking the three-dots menu to the right of Share and then clicking Rename.
• Adjust the order of media files by dragging the three-line menu to the left of each media item.
• Delete any item from the playlist by clicking its three-dot menu and then Remove from playlist.

Share playlists

From the Playlists page, click on the card of any playlist, or click the three-dots menu and click Open.

Click Share and then set the privacy to Public. Copy the playlist link to share it.

Delete playlists

From the Playlists page, delete playlists by selecting them and then clicking Delete.
