After the instructor assigns the learning path to the class in WeVideo, learners can access and complete it directly from the WeVideo class or through the assignment link shared by the instructor.
Access the learning path assignment
From the class in WeVideo
Log in to your WeVideo account, navigate to the Classes page, and click the class where the learning path is assigned.
Click the learning path assignment to open it.
Click the Play button or the Jump In button to launch the learning path player.
From the assignment link
If your instructor has shared the assignment link with you, click the link to access the learning path assignment directly. You may be asked to sign in to your WeVideo account before accessing the assignment.
Complete the items in the learning path
After launching the learning path, learners can examine and interact with its content. Different items in the learning path have different completion requirements for marking them as completed.
- Interactive Videos: Reach the end of the interactive video and complete all required interactions.
- Videos: Watch the video to the end.
- Text items: Read through the text and stay on the item for more than 5 seconds.
- Image: Stay on the item for more than 5 seconds.
- Web embed: Stay on the item for more than 5 seconds
When the item is completed, a green check mark appears next to it. Click the next item in the module, or click the Next button in the pop-up message to proceed.
If the instructor has locked the progression for the learning path, learners will need to complete the items in the order set by the instructor. Once the previous item is completed, the next item will be unlocked.
After completing all items in the learning path, click the Finish button at the top right to submit the assignment.
If the instructor has enabled the certificate for the learning path, the Print Certificate option will be available once learners have turned in the learning path assignment. Click the Print Certificate button to view and print the certificate. Learners can always revisit the certificate after completing the learning path.
On the certificate, learners can find the following information:
- Learner’s name
- Learning path’s title
- Instructor’s name and signature
- Completion date
The completed learning path assignment will be moved to the Turned In section in the class. Learners can always switch to the Turned In tab and click the completed learning path assignment to revisit its content. Revisiting the completed learning path will not alter its score unless the instructors enable multiple attempts for the interactions or retakes on the interactive videos in the learning path.
