Before you start

Create classes in WeVideo for different groups of users

Learners’ data and responses to an interactive video are stored in WeVideo based on the classes they are enrolled in. To separate learners from different groups, instructors can create classes for each group and enroll learners accordingly.

The classes page in the Interactivity space.

Navigate to the Interactivity space, switch to the Classes tab. Then click the Add New Class button to create a new class for learners. Repeat this step to create more classes for other learner groups.

Examine data for each learner group

Class data can be found in the data analytics export, allowing instructors to filter learners by class.

The interactive videos page in the Interactivity space

Navigate to the Interactivity space and switch to the Interactive videos page.

The export analytics option in the action menu of the interactive video

Click the interactive video thumbnail and select the Export Analytics option.

The confirmation window for exporting analytics from the interactive video

Click the Export Data button to confirm exporting the analytics data for this interactive video.

The class column in the exported CSV report

In the Exported CSV file, the Class column indicates which class each learner is enrolled in, and the instructor can filter the data by this column to view grades and status for learners in different classes.

Plan and role requirements for filter analytics by licenses or groups

All instructors and administrators with an education license (Instructor or Organization) can create interactive videos and assign them to learners.

Instructors and administrators can examine learners' submissions and download the data export from the interactive video in the classes they teach, or from the class in which they are added as a co-teacher or teaching assistant.
