Note:

  • This article is intended for new WeVideo users who need to install the Interactivity integration with their Canvas environment. Existing PlayPosit users migrating to WeVideo Interactivity do not need to install this Interactivity LMS integration, as their initial PlayPosit LMS setup will be transferred to the WeVideo Interactivity LMS integration from the backend. Please contact your Customer Success Manager for more details about migrating your PlayPosit integration to WeVideo Interactivity.
  • The LMS integration is only available to some users. If you are interested in the integration, please contact your Customer Success Manager to discuss enabling it for your school or organization.
  • This article is for the Canvas administrators to install the integration tool in the environment. For the instructor workflow, please see the instructions in the assign content to learners with Canvas article.

WeVideo Interactivity can be integrated into Canvas as an LTI 1.3 tool. This lets instructors assign interactive videos and playlists from their account to Canvas assignments and automatically syncs learners’ grades to the Canvas gradebook after they complete the assignment.
