Why do I receive the too many interactions warning when building the interactive video?

When there are more than 20 interactions in an interactive video, a warning message will appear at the top of the editor to inform you that the number of interactions may cause playback issues when learners take it. The message is a reminder, not a hard limit on the interactions that can be added to an interactive video. Please see this article for more information on best practices for adding interactions to the interactive videos.

Is there a limit on the number of interactions I can add to an interactive video?

No, there is no hard limit on the number of interactions in an interactive video. While the reminder message will appear after 20 interactions are added to the interactive video, you can continue adding interactions if needed. Please note that playback issues are more likely to occur when learners use weak connections to view an interactive video with many interactions. You may also consider trimming the video and separating the interactive video into different parts to prevent a large number of interactions from causing playback issues for your learners.

Is there a limit on how many interactions I can generate with the AI interaction generator?

There is a 20-interaction limit per interaction-generation request, and you can make multiple requests to have more than 20 generated interactions in an interactive video.

Evenly distribute the interactions in the interactive video

In addition to the number of interactions in the interactive video, its density also greatly affects the playback experience. When possible, evenly distribute interactions across the interactive video rather than having all interactions at the same timestamp to prevent loading issues that could cause playback errors for learners.
