Yes, Instructors can view students' submissions to the in-video polls from the monitor page of the interactive video. The dashboard includes a graph showing all student responses in the class and individual students’ poll submissions.
Before you start
- Create an interactive video with poll interactions in your WeVideo account
- Assign the interactive video to classes for your learners
- Have learners complete the interactive video
Access the monitor page for the interactive video to view students’ responses in poll interactions.
Depending on where the interactive video is assigned, instructors can access the monitor page in different ways.
Assigned in WeVideo Classes
The interactive video assigned in WeVideo classes can be monitored by navigating to the class in WeVideo. From the Multimedia Creation space, navigate to the Classes page and click on the class to launch it.
Click on the assignment to launch the monitor page for the interactive video.
Alternatively, instructors can also switch to the Interactivity space, navigate to the Classes page, and click on the class to launch it.
Click the interactive video’s thumbnail and select the Monitor option.
On the monitor page, instructors can view each learner’s submissions to the poll interactions in the interactive video.
To view the analytic diagram for the poll interaction, click the Poll Interaction icon at the top and select the Interaction Data option.
The analytic diagram with the original poll question will appear in the slide-out window.
Assigned in the LMS Classes
If the interactive video is assigned to classes in the LMS through the WeVideo LTI integration, instructors will need to access the monitor page from the LMS assignment. Navigate to the course in the LMS, launch the assignment, then click the Monitor button on the Manage Link page to open the monitor page.
On the monitor page, instructors can view each learner’s submissions to the poll interactions in the interactive video.
To view the analytic diagram for the poll interaction, click the Poll Interaction icon at the top and select the Interaction Data option.
The analytic diagram with the original poll question will appear in the slide-out window.
Role and plan requirements for examining students’ answers in the Poll interactions
All instructors and administrators with a WeVideo Educational license (Instructor or Organization) can create interactive videos with poll interactions and assign them to learners.
Instructors and administrators can examine learners’submissions for the class they teach or for the class in which they are added as a co-teacher or teaching assistant.
