Note:

  • The Interactivity Blackbaud integration is only available for some users. If you do not see the integration tool in the LMS, please contact your LMS admins.
  • If interactive videos or playlists are assigned directly to Interactivity Classes and then added to the LMS course via links or embed codes, they will not be connected to the LMS course. This means grades will not be sent to the LMS gradebook, and learners will need to log in to their WeVideo accounts manually rather than accessing the interactive content directly within the LMS.  To ensure learners can access the interactive assignment directly from the LMS course and that grades can be synced to the LMS gradebook, please follow the steps in this article to assign the interactive content to the LMS course using the WeVideo Interactivity Integration.

In this article:

Instructors can assign interactive content to their learners through the Blackbaud integration, and learners can complete the assignment directly in Blackbaud with their grades synced to the gradebook. Please see this article for more information about assigning interactive content through Blackbaud.

Assign content to learners through Blackbaud

Log in to Blackbaud, navigate to the class, and switch to the Assignments tab.

Click the +Add button and select the WeVideo Interactivity integration.

Click Set Link on the manage link page to launch into WeVideo Interactivity.

Click the Platform button next to the interactive video or playlist you want to assign and click Link. If there is no interactive video in your account yet, click the Create New Interactive Video button to launch the editor and create one.

Adjust the Learner Experience between self-paced and live broadcast.

(Optional) Set the due date for the interactive video. Learners can not access the assignment after the due date. If no date is entered here, there will be no due date for this assignment.

Click Set Link to complete the process.

Adjust the title, score, and other settings for the assignment in Blackbaud and click Save to assign it to learners. The maximum score in Blackbaud does not need to match the one in WeVideo Interactivity. Learners’ scores will be automatically scaled to align with the score set in Blackbaud.

Update the due date for the interactive assignment

Navigate to the assignment in the LMS and click the Monitor button to launch the WeVideo in a new tab.

Click the Interactive Videos tab at the top to view the class's interactive videos.

Click the thumbnail of the interactive video and select the Edit Assignment option.

Update the assignment's due date, then click Update.

Monitor learners’ progress

Navigate to the class and click on the assignment to launch it in Blackbaud.

Click the Monitor button on the manage link page to launch the monitor page for this assignment.

On the monitor page, you can find learners’ names, scores, status, and responses to each question in this assignment. Please see this article for more information about the monitor page.

Sync grades to Toddle gradebook

If the interactive videos or playlists only contain auto-graded interactions (multiple choice, check-all-that-apply, fill-in-the-blank), learners' grades will be synced to the Toddle gradebook automatically once they complete the assignment.

If there are manually graded free response interactions in the interactive videos or instructors have edited learners’ points on the monitor page, please follow the steps below to manually sync the most updated grades to Toddle.

Launch the monitor page for the assignment and assign points to learners by clicking on their responses if needed.

Click the Sync All Grades button in the top-left corner of the window to send the updated grades to Toddle.
