To import media into your WeVideo account, go to the Media tab and select Add Media. If you already have media in your account, you can select the blue + icon in the top right to import additional media.
After you select Add Media or the blue + icon, an Import media pop-up will appear that allows you to choose where to import your media from.
The Import media pop-up window can also be accessed by selecting the Import icon. This allows you to import new media files without leaving the editor.
Import media from your computer
Click Browse to select to import media files from your computer. The window that appears will allow you to select media files from any local folder on your computer. You can also drag and drop media files directly into the Import media window.
Import media from an external site
To import media from an external site, select the icon of the location you wish to import from.
You'll be prompted to sign into that account and allow WeVideo access. Once you allow access, you should be directed to the external account in a pop-up window as shown in the Google Drive example below. After you select the media you want to import from the external site, it will be saved into your WeVideo account.
Import media from a mobile device
To access WeVideo on your mobile device, download the WeVideo app from the App Store or Google Play Store. If you have an active subscription, the sync across platforms feature allows your account's imported media on a mobile device to be accessed from the desktop browser version of WeVideo.
Once you've installed the app, you can use the Media uploader to import media from your mobile device into your WeVideo account.

Import slides
To import slides into your WeVideo account from Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint, simply save your presentation as a supported file type. We recommend that you save your presentation as a PDF to easily import that file into your WeVideo account as a set of images.
Once you import the PDF into your WeVideo account, each slide will be saved as an image that you can add to your timeline.
