To adjust the audio of an entire track, drag the scroll bar on the left of the track. To adjust the audio of a clip, double-click the audio clip in the timeline to open the Clip Editor and navigate to the Volume tab. Here you can use the scroll bar to adjust the audio level. You can also use the Fade In and Fade Out tools to gradually increase and decrease the volume at the start and end of your clip and an adjustable keyframe to adjust the volume at a specific point in the clip.
Adjust the track audio level
To adjust the audio level of an entire track, drag the scroll bar to the left to decrease audio levels or to the right to increase audio levels. By default, the audio of a track is set to 100%, but you can boost the audio of a track to higher levels.
Adjust the audio level of a clip
To adjust the audio level of a clip, double-click the clip in the timeline to open the Clip Editor and navigate to the Volume tab. Here you can use the scroll bar to adjust the audio level.
How to use Fade In and Fade Out tools
You can use the Fade In and Fade Out tools to gradually increase and decrease the volume at the start and end of your clip. You can also add fade-in and fade-out effects by editing the audio track. Click the Edit option at the top of the timeline when the audio track is selected. Toggle on the Fade option and adjust the length for the fade.
For added customizability when fading the audio levels in and out, click the Audio & Opacity option at the top of the timeline and select Show audio level.
How adjust the audio at a specific point in the clip
Use the blue band at any point to create an adjustable keyframe to modify the volume level at that point in the clip. Double-click on the keyframe to remove it from the blue band at any point.
Remove background noise
To remove the background noise, click the Edit option at the top of the timeline when the audio track is selected. Toggle on the Reduce Noise option, and it will automatically detect and remove the background noise from the clip.
