WeVideo provides a variety of options for users to adjust when exporting their video, helping them balance video quality and file size.
Before you start
Adjust the export settings to control the file size
After finishing editing the project, click the Export button in the top-right corner of the editor.
Edit the video title, then select the video resolution. The higher the resolution, the larger the file size will be.
Additionally, you can also adjust the frame rate and visual quality of the exported video to control the file size. Click the Advanced option to expand the settings menu.
Use the Frame Rate dropdown to select the frame rates per second. For video projects, frame rate can be set as 24, 25, 30, or 60 frames per second. The higher the frame rate is, the larger the file size will be.
Use the Visual Quality dropdown to select low, normal, or high. The higher the visual quality is, the larger the file size will be.
Click Export to export the project.
Plan requirements for adjusting the export settings
All user types can adjust the export settings, while the available resolution options vary by plan. For Individual and Small Business license users, the maximum resolution is 4K Ultra HD; for Educational license users, the maximum resolution is Standard HD (720p).
