When uploading media to WeVideo, there is no file-size limit, but there is a storage limit for the license. Users will not be able to upload files if the limit is reached.
What are the storage limits in WeVideo?
The storage limits differ for the license types:
- Creator, Teams, and Enterprise licenses: Unlimited cloud storage
- Educational Instructor and Organization licenses: 5GB of cloud storage per seat.
The educational license’s storage space is determined by the number of seats included in the license, and all users share the same available storage space. For example, in an Educational license with 200 seats, the available storage space will be 1000GB. All users in the license can upload any number of files to WeVideo, as long as the total file size is under the 1000GB limit.
How can I check the available space on the license?
From the Multimedia Creation space, click the user icon at the top right corner, and select the Account Settings option. Used storage and available space can be found on the Account Settings page.
What should I do if I run out of space on the license?
Removing uploaded media and exports will free up storage space in the license, allowing you to upload new media. To remove the uploads or exports, navigate to the Uploads or Exports page.
Select the media by clicking the checkboxes, then click Delete to remove them from the license.
Limitations to the storage space in WeVideo
While the creator, teams, and enterprise licenses users do not have a storage space limit, they are subject to the Fair Use Policy on Storage and Export Time.
