Are stock assets included in WeVideo?

Yes, all users with a WeVideo paid license (Individual & Small Business, and Education) have unlimited access to the stock asset library and can use its media to create new projects.

What is included in the stock asset library?

The stock asset library includes the following media types:

  • Royalty-free videos: 460K+ videos
  • Royalty-free music: 125K+ music and sound effects
  • Royalty-free images: 415K+ images

All these stock assets can be accessed from the WeVideo editor when creating projects.

How to access the stock asset library?

The create button in WeVideo Multimedia Creation.

Click the Create button at the top of the Multimedia Creation space to create a new project.

In the left sidebar menu, there are the Videos, Images, and Audio options for users to view stock assets by category. Select one of them to view the stock asset library.

Find the category that meets your needs and click See all to view all stock media in that category.

You can also use the search tool at the top to find stock media using keywords.

 

Dragging the media to the timeline to add it to the project.

After finding the stock media you want to use, drag it to the timeline to add it to the project. Once added to the project, you can then further edit it as other media.

If you want to save stock media for later use, click the heart icon at the top left of the media to add it to the Favorites category so you can easily find it next time.

Plan requirements for accessing the stock asset library in WeVideo

A paid license is required to access the stock asset library. If you are currently on a trial plan, you can also access the stock media library throughout the trial period, but you will need to purchase a license after the trial ends to continue accessing your account and content.
