WeVideo Interactivity can be integrated into Blackbaud as an LTI 1.3 tool. The integration enables instructors to assign interactive videos and playlists from their account to Blackbaud assignments and automatically syncs learners' grades to Blackbaud’s gradebook after they complete the assignment. Please follow the instructions below to install the WeVideo integration into your Blackbaud environment.

Install the integration tool in Blackbaud

Log in to Blackbaud as an administrator. Then expand the top dropdown menu and select the Core option.

Select the Settings option at the top, then select Integration Settings.

Switch to the Learning Tools tab and click the + APP button.

Change the Provider Type to Storyboard and select the LTI 1.3 tool option.

Provide the name and description of the tool as you would like it to be.

Enter the following information in the LTI Endpoint URLs section.

• Default Assignment Type: Assessment
• Launch URL: https://www.wevideo.com/api/5/lti/interactivity/login
• Deep Linking URL: https://www.wevideo.com/api/5/lti/interactivity/login
• Login URL: https://awstest.wevideo.com/api/5/lti/interactivity/auth
• Public Key Set URL: https://awstest.wevideo.com/.well-known/jwks.json

Adjust the Privacy Settings as follows:

• Send User Name: Always
• Send User Email: Always

Under the Given Name section, select the First name, always option. Then click the + Add Parameter button and add the following parameter to it:

• Parameter: contextHistory
• Value: $Context.id.history

Click Save to complete the setup process.

Register the tool

Log in to your Interactivity account, switch to Interactivity, click the user icon on the top right of the window, and select User Settings.

Scroll to the LTI 1.3 Settings section and click Generate Code. 

Copy the generated code.

Go back to Blackbaud and launch Interactivity from the course where the integration was installed. The Register page will pop up. Click OK.

Paste the generated code from the Interactivity account into the Registration Token field and click Submit. The tool is now successfully registered! Refresh the page and start linking content to Blackbaud.
