When copying a Wevideo project from your mobile device to the web browser, certain features are not supported. These unsupported features include overlay effects, stickers, and motion titles, which are not available in the web editor. Additionally, copying a project from mobile to web requires a paid WeVideo subscription and an iOS device.
Unsupported features when copying from mobile to web
Below is a list of unsupported features when copying projects from mobile to web:
- Overlay effects: Overlay effects will be deleted from the web version of the edit, with a placeholder space kept in the timeline.
- Stickers: Stickers will be deleted from the web version of the edit, with a placeholder space kept in the timeline.
- Motion titles: Some motion titles will retain the text that you have input, but the motion asset itself will be swapped to static text.
Please also note that once you copy your mobile project to the web editor, it becomes a separate project. Changes made to the web copy will not affect the mobile version, and changes made on the web will not carry over to your mobile project. In addition, copying a project from the web to mobile is unavailable at this time.
