To receive notifications from WeVideo, navigate to your Account Settings by clicking on the user icon at the top right of the Multimedia Creation space. In Account Settings, expand the Notifications section and toggle on the events you wish to receive notifications for. You can choose to receive notifications in WeVideo or in your email.

Overview of WeVideo notifications
In Account Settings, WeVideo lists categories of notifications that users can choose to receive. Notifications can be sent via two methods. Under Education, users with admin, teacher, or student accounts can adjust which notifications they want to receive and how they receive them. Individual and small business accounts, such as creators, can also adjust certain notification preferences
Types of notifications
When toggling on your WeVideo notification you have two options of where to receive them, In Product or Email.
- In product: In-product notifications are sent to users in WeVideo, and users can view them by clicking the bell icon at the top of the Multimedia Creation space window.
- Email: Email notifications are notifications sent to the email associated with the account.
Notification categories for Education accounts
- Assignments: When an assignment is assigned, turned in, or returned.
- ClassFeed Comments: When a comment is added on the user’s submission, someone replies to a comment on the user’s submission, or when the comment is approved.
- Class management: When the user is added to a class.
- Projects and Exports: When invited to a project or when the export is completed.

How to adjust notification preferences
To adjust your notification preferences, navigate to your Account Settings by clicking the user icon in the top-right corner of the Multimedia Creation space.
In Account Settings, expand the Notifications section and toggle on the events you wish to receive notifications for. To toggle on notifications, simply click the button to the right of the category you wish to turn on. When the toggle is blue, the notification selection is on.
Availability and requirements for notifications
Please note that the owner of the Admin Plus license currently cannot adjust notification settings for their account.
