What are Learner Made Bulbs?

In Learner Made Bulb assignments, learners will have access to the Bulb designer to create their own interactive videos as the submissions to the assignment. They can use the videos of their choice and add all the supported interaction types in PlayPosit into their Bulb. Instructors can use this feature to:

  • Review projects where learners create their own questions on video already seen.
  • Have learners create their own videos and add interactions to increase engagement.
  • Record a learner's presentation and have them reflect on their performance with comments.

Create Learner Made Bulb assignments

Click the dropdown arrow next to the Create New Bulb button and select Create New Learner Made Bulb.

  • Allow learners to use private video hosts: Learners can use private video hosts (i.e., Panopto, Kaltura, Mediasite, etc.) integrated into the license to create their Bulb.
    • Learners will access their own content within private video hosts: If this option is selected, learners will use the video they have in their private video host account to create their Bulb.
