Generic Browser Troubleshooting Tips

If your projects, exports, or dashboard are having playback issues or will not load properly, please try the troubleshooting steps below.

  • Update Browser: Please see the instructions for updating Chrome here and the instructions for updating Firefox here.
  • Try a different browser.
  • Clear browser cache and cookies: Please click here for instructions on clearing cache and cookies on Chrome and here for instructions on clearing cache and cookies on Firefox.
  • Disable browser extensions: Browser extensions may conflict with the video player or the project editor. Please disable them to see if the issue is resolved.
  • Try an incognito browser window: Sometimes, your browser's extensions or add-ons may interfere with WeVideo functionalities. For assistance with creating an incognito window in your browser, click here for Chrome and here for Firefox.
  • Try a different device type: If you are working on a tablet or mobile device, try accessing WeVideo on a desktop or laptop computer. If you are already on a computer, try to use a different device. 
  • Try a different network: If you are using wireless internet, try connecting to a different network and disabling your VPN.
  • Enable third-party cookies in the browser: Some browsers might be configured to block third-party cookies, which can cause issues with loading content on certain websites. Please see the list below for instructions on enabling third-party cookies in your browser.
