How do I integrate WeVideo Interactivity to Schoology?

WeVideo Interactivity can be integrated into Schoology as an LTI 1.3 tool. The integration allows instructors to assign interactive videos and playlists from their account to Schoology and allows learners' grades to sync to the Schoology grade book automatically after they complete the assignment. Please follow the instructions below to install the WeVideo integration into your Schoology environment.

Install the WeVideo Interactivity Schoology Integration Tool

Log in to Schoology as an admin, click the App icon at the top, and select App Center.

Select My Developer Apps.

Click the +Add App button.

Complete the form with the following information then click Submit to create the app:

• App Name: Name the app as you wish; this will be displayed to users when they access the tool.
• Description: Provide a brief description of the tool.
• Category: Select a category for the tool.
• Available for: Only people in my school.
• Upload an image for the tool (Optional)
• Type of App: LTI 1.3
• Can be installed for: Check all the boxes.
• LTI Advantage Extensions: Select the following options:
  • Deep Linking
  • Assignment and Grade Services
  • Names and Roles Services
• JWKS URL: https://www.wevideo.com/.well-known/jwks
• Domain: https://www.wevideo.com/app
• Custom Parameter: contextHistory=$Context.id.history
• OIDC: https://www.wevideo.com/api/5/lti/interactivity/auth
• Redirect URL: https://www.wevideo.com/api/5/lti/interactivity/login
• Click the check box next to "This application meets the Schoology Terms of Use."

Find the tool from the app list and click the Install LTI 1.3 App button.

Click I Agree, then click Continue, and select Add to organization.

Find the tool from the list and click Install.

Select All Course and click Submit.

Refresh the page, and the WeVideo Interactivity Schoology Integration tool is successfully installed.

Register the Tool

Log into your WeVideo account and switch to Interactivity.

Click the user icon on the top right of the window, select User Settings, and scroll to the bottom.

Click Generate Code and copy the generated code.

Back to Schoology and navigate to one of the courses. Click Add Materials and select the WeVideo Interactivity tool from the list.

Enter the Registration Code and click Submit.

The WeVideo Interactivity Integration is now successfully registered and is ready to use!
