If you encounter the "This app is blocked" error message from Google when using WeVideo, Please follow the steps in this article to adjust the Google settings and add WeVideo to be a trusted app. Please note that this setting can only be adjusted by the Google Workspace Administrator.
- Navigate to your Google Workspace Admin dashboard
- Search "API controls" with the search bar on the top and select the option nested under "Security"
- Click "Manage Third-Party App Access" on the right side of the page
- Search for the name "WeVideo"
- Click Change Access.
- Select Trusted and submit.
