If you’re getting a Google error saying “This App Is Blocked” when using WeVideo, it’s because you need to add WeVideo to be a trusted app in your settings. Before You Start
Please note that this setting can only be adjusted by a Google Workspace Administrator. If you are not the administrator, you’ll need to work with the person who can make these adjustments.
Troubleshooting Steps
When you run into a “This App Is Blocked” message, it’s quick and easy to adjust your settings.
- Navigate to your Google Workspace Admin dashboard.
- From the dashboard, find the search bar at the top. Search "API controls" and select the option nested under "Security".
- Click "Manage Third-Party App Access" on the right side of the page.
- Scroll down to or search for the name "WeVideo".
- Click Change Access.
- Select Trusted and submit.
Now, Google will stop blocking WeVideo from accessing the information in your account.
