How do I add/remove media from my projects?

Use this step-by-step guide to adding and removing media from WeVideo projects, including key features, tips, and best practices.

In this article:

Navigate the project bin and media library

To add media to your projects, open a project and click Videos, Images, or Audio to search from WeVideo’s 1M+ royalty-free assets. Or, select Add media to upload your own media, record videos, or record voiceover in the project.

Add media to the Project bin by right-clicking then selecting Share to project.

To remove it from the Project bin, select Project bin, right-click the asset, and select Unshare.

Use media library to create a project

Project bin: Reference all of the media, text, effects, and backgrounds added to each project.

Uploads: Find all of the media uploaded to your account.

Exports: Manage, edit, and organize projects you’ve created in this folder.

Videos, Images, Audio: Use the search bar to input keywords or explore these folders for WeVideo’s wide variety of stock media assets.

Text: Customize titles, multi-line text, seasonal fonts, and more. Select See all to explore a particular category.

Backgrounds: Select animated or solid backgrounds to pair with text, recordings, music, and more.

Add media to Timeline

Once you select your media, simply drag and drop to the Timeline.

Customize edits, filters, transitions, and more. Continue the process for each media asset until your project is ready to export!
