How to enable dark mode from the Multimedia Creation Page
1. Navigate to your profile icon on the top right corner of your screen and click on it.
2. Click Theme to open your options and select Dark to turn your page from Light to Dark.
How to enable dark mode in the editor
1. Within your project, you can enable dark mode by clicking the Main menu button (3 horizontal dashes) at the top left of your project.
2. Navigate down to the Theme selection and click Dark to edit your project in Dark mode.
When to use dark mode
Users can edit projects and navigate WeVideo in dark mode whenever they choose, but it's recommended that you edit in dark mode in certain situations such as:
- Editing at night
- Editing in a dimly lit room
- Editing for an extended period of time
These situations are recommended times to edit in dark mode to reduce any strain on your eyes from staring at a bright screen to edit.
Supported devices and browsers for editing in dark mode
Switching from light to dark mode in WeVideo is only available on the web version. WeVideo’s mobile app automatically appears in a dark mode and does not currently have the ability to switch to a lighter mode.
